Shaws (Ironmongers) Ltd and Outram Fields & Co have a long trading history. Shaws was founded in 1906 as Alfred Shaw & Sons, and Outram Field as Neville Watts, Doncaster in 1937. The Outram Family purchased both companies, Shaws in 1960 and Neville Watts, Doncaster in 1955 and they are still owned and managed by members of the family.

Both companies have traded in very similar lines throughout their history, supplying the building trade and many other trades and the general public with a vast range of:

• Locks and security products
• All types of fastenings and adhesives
• Builders and Joiners hand tools
• Specialists in industrial and domestic sliding door gear
• Supplying, fitting and repairing all types of domestic garage doors
